CG Modeling
Below are models that I have built using either Maya or Zbrush. They have been textured using Substance painter and rigs have been built inside Maya
Asteroid Defense Player
This ship was built as game model to be used in one of my unity projects. The goal of the ship was to give the appearance of a space battleship which I believe it does beautifully.
An Artist and His Tools Room
One of the major elements I was responsible for on this project was designing building and texturing the room in which our animation would take place
U.S.S. SOLARIA
This was a project I completed for 3-D Computer Animation at California State University Northridge. The project itself was the largest project I have yet to take on. With this project I was tasked with developing a narrative, designing, and creating the geometry as well as UV mapping and texturing every model seen, and then to render the scene using Arnold. At this point I moved into editing all the rendered images and compositing sound into the video. After compositing the music and sound effects I moved onto special effects here I added the explosions seen throughout the animation. At the end of the day this project I feel taught me every aspect that goes into the production of an animation project, that being said my favorite part of this project was definitely designing and building the models especially the battleship.

ZBRUSH CREATURE
Zbrush creature imported into Maya
After the model was completed in ZBrush I exported it to Maya where I rigged it as well as new textures were applied from Substance Painter

ROBOT BUILT IN ZBRUSH
Maya Character
Characters made with Maya
This character was built and rigged in Maya with later textures being created in Substance Painter

This character was my first attempt at building a characters head in Maya

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA C.I.C.
This room was my first full scale project using 3d software. The project was to create a room. However even though I had been recently introduced to building 3d objects I wanted to try and push the boundaries. The CIC was created in AutoDesk Maya using multiple objects. All of the objects were created and built apart and then assembled into the room, to scale. I also created hallways so that if the camera is positioned on the inside of the room and the viewer looks out the window in the door, they would see a hall way versus empty space. Once the room was constructed, I also gave it my first attempt at using materials and lightening. All in all, I feel the piece is very immersive.

IMPERIAL KNIGHT ATROPOS
This is my version of a Forge World, Warhammer 40k, Imperial Knight Atropos. This was a side project I decided to work on after building and painting my own Atropos model in real life.

IN PROGRESS PROJECT
MERCURY-CLASS BATTLESTAR
When this project is complete it will be my take on the Mercury-Class Battlestar from the show Battlestar Galactica (2004).
Battleship Carrier
I started this project after reading a concept that the U.S. Navy was considering with their Battleships. The concept was to turn the aft portion of the ships into flight decks, as a result the warship would be able to field multiple roles aside from its standard role of coastal bombardment. I then expanded on the idea and turned it into an all in one. The ship would also carry an amphibious launch bay as well as multiple guided missile systems. My hope when this project is finished is to integrate with Maya's Boss system to create a dynamic ocean for it to reside in.
